How it works

One quest, one place, badges to earn.

Every neighborhood has its quests: a café, a museum, a park, a viewpoint, a market, a small concert. Go whenever you like, at your own pace.

Pick your quest

Scroll through the quests, one per screen. Each one gives you a real place in Paris and its XP.

FAQ

Questions people ask us.

What is Mingle?

A game for exploring your city. Every neighborhood has its quests: you go to a place, check in there, take a photo of the place, and earn XP and a badge in your passport.

Can I play alone?

Yes. Solo quests are done entirely on your own, whenever you like and at your own pace. Group quests are extra, if you feel like it.

How do group quests work?

You book a seat in a small outing organized by Mingle, in a public place, with a fixed number of seats. The group chat opens for the people who booked so you can get organized. On site, everyone checks in, and a photo of the place unlocks the outing’s shared album, which only the people who came can see.

How does check-in work?

Once there, press and hold “I’m here”. The app reads your location at that moment, and check-in is confirmed within 300 m of the place. Mingle does not track your location in the background.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. The app is free and there are no in-app purchases. If a place charges for entry, you pay there, directly to the place.

Where are the quests?

For now in Paris, in public places or places open to the public: cafés, museums, parks, viewpoints, markets, small concert venues.

Who can use Mingle?

Adults 18 and over. Your date of birth is asked right after sign-in and is never shown.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Passport, then Settings, then “Delete my account”. Your account and data are erased at once. Details, including the little that is kept, are on the Delete my account page.
