Terms of Use
Mingle application and website: effective from 29 October 2026.
Article 1: What this is
1.1: Mingle (the “Service”) is an application and a website for exploring your neighborhood through quests: go to a place (a café, a museum, a park, a viewpoint, a market…), check in there and take a photo. Each quest you complete gives you a badge in your passport and points. You do a quest alone, or with a group by booking a spot in an outing. It is published by PEACH IMMO (the “Publisher”).
1.2: By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms, the Community rules, the Safety tips and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Article 2: Words used
- Member: anyone who has an account.
- Quest: something to do at a real place. A solo quest is done alone; a group quest goes through an outing.
- Outing: a small-group activity at a given date and place, offered and organised by Mingle.
- Host: Mingle, which offers every outing. Members do not create outings.
- Check-in: confirming that you are at the place of a quest, using your location at that moment.
- Badge: the record of a completed quest (place, neighborhood, date, photo), kept in your passport.
- Passport: your profile, with your first name, your photo, your points, your level and your badges.
- Album: the photos of an outing, shared between the participants who checked in to it.
Article 3: Being 18 and having an account
3.1: The Service is reserved for people aged 18 or over. At sign-up you enter your date of birth, and the Service is closed to anyone under 18. The Publisher may suspend or delete an account whose holder appears to be a minor.
3.2: You create your account with your e-mail address (a code is sent to you), with Apple or with Google. One person, one account.
3.3: You provide accurate information (first name, date of birth and, if you add one, a photo) and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your account and for what is done with it.
3.4: The Service opens city by city. Today, quests and outings take place in Paris.
Article 4: Your passport and your photo
4.1: Your passport shows other members your first name and your photo, if you added one. Your points, your level and your badges are kept there. Your date of birth is never displayed.
4.2: Your profile photo is optional and does not need to show your face: a place, an object, a drawing or any image of your choice is fine. It must not show another person without their consent, nor any prohibited content.
4.3: Every photo you add (quest, album, profile and chat) is checked when uploaded by an automated AI moderation service, with your consent given in the application before your first photo, as the Privacy Policy explains. The Publisher may refuse or remove a photo, or any other content, that does not comply with these terms.
4.4: You keep your rights over your photos, your texts and your messages. You authorise the Publisher to host them and show them to the people these terms provide for, to operate the Service and for as long as your account exists.
Article 5: Solo quests
5.1: A solo quest gives you a real place, with its name and address. You go there whenever you like, by your own means.
5.2: On site, you check in by pressing and holding “I’m here”: the application reads your location at that moment, and the check-in is accepted only if you are within 300 meters of the place.
5.3: You then take a photo of the place, with the camera or from your library. It becomes your badge, and the quest’s points are added to your total. The photo of a solo badge is visible only to you.
5.4: Places are public places or places open to the public, which alone are responsible for their welcome, opening hours and prices. What you buy there is at your own expense and paid directly to the place. Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health: drink in moderation.
Article 6: Group outings
6.1: A group quest goes through an outing. Each outing shows the host, the date, the place and the number of spots. The exact address of the place is shown once you have booked your spot.
6.2: You book a spot in the application. Spots are limited and bookings close when the outing starts. When an outing is full, you can join the waitlist and you are notified as soon as a spot opens up.
6.3: You can cancel your spot until the outing has started: the group is informed. If something comes up, let the group know in the chat.
6.4: The Publisher may change or cancel an outing, for example when a venue is closed. You are notified, and the chat of a cancelled outing stays readable.
6.5: On site, each participant checks in, under the same conditions as in Article 5.2. A photo of the place then opens the outing’s shared album, where the participants’ photos are kept, and each participant who checked in receives the badge and the points.
6.6: An outing’s album is visible only to the participants who checked in to it. Each of them can add a photo and remove their own. Only post a photo showing another participant with their consent.
6.7: Every outing is offered by the Publisher under the Mingle name, in a public place. The Publisher may hide or remove an outing. It is not present during the outing: each participant follows the Community rules there.
Article 7: The group chat
7.1: Each outing has a group chat reserved for those who booked a spot. It opens as soon as you book and closes 12 hours after the outing ends. It stays readable afterwards.
7.2: The first message of the chat reminds you to gather in a public place. Messages are visible to every participant of the outing, and anyone can report a message.
Article 8: Points, levels and seasons
8.1: Each completed quest gives points. Your level depends on your total points. A season is one calendar month.
8.2: Points, levels and badges are part of the game. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or goods. The Publisher may remove those obtained by faking a check-in or by breaching these terms.
Article 9: Rules and safety
The Community rules and the Safety tips are part of these terms. A breach may lead to content being removed, a suspension or the deletion of the account, without compensation.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users: every report is handled within 24 hours.
Article 10: Deleting your account and suspension
10.1: You can delete your account at any time in the application, from My passport, Settings, with “Delete my account”. Deletion is immediate: your upcoming outings are cancelled and their participants notified, and your profile, photos, messages, check-ins, badges and points are erased. Reports about you are kept without your name. The Privacy Policy details what is kept.
10.2: The Publisher may suspend or delete an account that does not comply with these terms, telling you first except in an emergency or in case of serious breach.
Article 11: Intellectual property
The Mingle name, the logo, the texts, the interfaces, the code and the databases belong to the Publisher or its rights holders. You have a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. Any unauthorised reproduction or extraction is prohibited.
Article 12: Liability
12.1: The Publisher uses the means necessary for the Service to work properly. It may be interrupted, in particular for maintenance.
12.2: Getting to the places of quests is your own responsibility: follow traffic rules, the rules of each place and private property, and do not look at your phone while walking or driving.
12.3: Members of the Service take part in group quests together. The Publisher verifies neither the identity nor the background of members and does not guarantee the accuracy of what they declare. It is not liable for damage caused by the behavior of a member or a venue, nor for damage resulting from a use of the Service contrary to these terms.
12.4: These provisions do not limit the Publisher’s liability in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct, nor the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Article 13: Changes to the terms
The Publisher may change these terms. You are informed of any significant change at least 15 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept it; otherwise, you can delete your account.
Article 14: Governing law and disputes
14.1: These terms are governed by French law.
14.2: In case of difficulty, write to [email protected] to look for an amicable solution.
14.3: If you are a consumer, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge, in particular through the European online dispute resolution platform.
14.4: Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction under ordinary law.
Community rules
Mingle works when everyone feels good on an outing. These rules apply everywhere: passport, quests, outings, chats and albums.
What we expect from you
- Be yourself: your real first name, your real date of birth, one account. Your profile photo is optional and does not need to be a photo of you. No impersonation.
- Respect others: no harassment, insults, discriminatory or hateful remarks, and no unsolicited sexual messages. A no is respected, on outings and in chats.
- Respect privacy: do not photograph or film participants without their consent, only put in an album photos taken with the consent of those who appear in them, and do not share what you learn about them outside the group.
- Sell nothing: no advertising, cold-calling, proselytising or selling. Your profile and the name or description of an outing contain no web address or phone number.
- Stay within the law: nothing unlawful, nothing that puts someone in danger, no sexual content, in text, photos or GIFs.
- Keep your word: if you can no longer come, cancel your spot or tell the group.
- Play fair: check in only when you are really on site, and make sure your photos show the place of the quest. Do not get around the location check.
Reporting and blocking
From a passport, an outing, a message or an album photo, you can report a fraudulent account, inappropriate behavior, inappropriate content or a scam. You can also block a member: you no longer see each other and can no longer write to each other. You can unblock from My passport, Settings, Safety, Blocked.
The team reads every report. Depending on the seriousness, it may remove content, send a warning, suspend the account (including as a precaution when someone’s safety is at stake) or delete it. An abusive or unfounded report may itself be sanctioned.
If you think a decision is a mistake, write to [email protected]: the decision is reviewed.
Safety tips
Quests take you to places in your city, alone or in a small group, always in public places. A few habits help everything go well.
Before and during
- Explore public places: every quest leads to a place open to the public, a café, a museum, a park, a market. Stay in the open area of the place.
- Be careful on the way: look around you rather than at your screen when you head to a place, and do not enter a closed or private place.
- Tell someone close which place you are exploring and when you expect to be back.
- Keep the essentials to yourself: do not share your address or your bank details in the group chat. Mingle never asks for money.
- Stay in control of what you consume.
- Leave when you want: if a situation makes you uncomfortable, leave, get home safely and report it.
What Mingle does not do
Mingle verifies neither the identity nor the background of members. The profile photo is optional and proves nothing about who someone is. In a group, stay together at the place of the quest.
If something goes wrong
In case of immediate danger, call the emergency services: 17 (police), 112 (emergencies). For any behavior that bothers you, report it from the application, or write to [email protected]. A member who bothers you can be blocked in a few seconds.
