Safety tips

Quests take you to places in your city, alone or in a small group, always in public places. A few habits help everything go well.

Before and during

  • Explore public places: every quest leads to a place open to the public, a café, a museum, a park, a market. Stay in the open area of the place.
  • Be careful on the way: look around you rather than at your screen when you head to a place, and do not enter a closed or private place.
  • Tell someone close which place you are exploring and when you expect to be back.
  • Keep the essentials to yourself: do not share your address or your bank details in the group chat. Mingle never asks for money.
  • Stay in control of what you consume.
  • Leave when you want: if a situation makes you uncomfortable, leave, get home safely and report it.

What Mingle does not do

Mingle verifies neither the identity nor the background of members. A profile photo, when there is one, does not guarantee who is who. In a group, stay together at the place of the quest.

If something goes wrong

In case of immediate danger, call the emergency services: 17 (police), 112 (emergencies). For any behavior that bothers you, report it from the application, or write to [email protected]. A member who bothers you can be blocked in a few seconds.
